Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client’s medical facility based in Kissimmee, FL 34759. This is a 3 months assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Job Name: Medical Assistant
Location : Kissimmee, FL 34759
Duration : 3 months Contract (Possibilities of extension)
Shift : 8 am-5 pm Monday-Friday
Job Details:
- Assist Physician with injections and EKG's
- Chart prep, room patients, scanning/faxing records, phone intake calls and other duties as assigned
- Organize, stock and clean exam rooms
- Perform PT/INR's
- Maintain quality control standards
Must have qualifications/experience:
1. Be bilingual (English/Spanish) language proficiency
2. Have 2+ years experience as a medical assistant or related experience in a medical setting
3. Strong medical Terminology and insurance knowledge
4. ICD-9/10 and CPT coding experience
5. eCW experience
Dress code:
- Both top and bottom scrubs, closed to shoes with no holes, nails must be no longer than 1/3 inches,
Scrub color:
- Dark blue or royal blue permitted
